The average expected salary for a typical Flight Attendant in the United States is $51,534.

The requirement for a flight attendant vary from one airline to another, but below are the general guideline of the requirement for a flight attendant.A high school diploma or a GED is good enough for a flight attendant. The airline that hires you will provide all of your training. .You cannot receive your airline training from any place other than the airline, regardless of what you might see on the internet.

Certain airlines may require the flight attendant have some customer service experience, but it is not necessary. This can be in any type of situation that brought you into contact with the public in some capacity. Some airlines do an extensive 10 years background check one the applicant and a thorough drug test.  They will also put you put up for a physical test but it is not so bad.

You do not have to look extremely pretty to become a flight attendant, this is a traditional way of thinking that is absolutely not true.  In addition, there is not height or weight limit.
