Free Marketing tips Women Should know

Women in the business world have a tendency to struggle with a balance between home and work life.  If you happen to be a working mom there is definitely added pressure on you.  There is a heightened sense of guilt whether you work from your home or in an office.  You should never project this guilt on to your family members.  If you run a home based business include your children in the process so they don’t feel like something else is taking your attention away from them.  Working from home does have the same benefit and drawback.  The work being easily accessible for you to do it around the clock can be helpful and harmful to your business.  In order to see your business grow networking is the key.  Tell your friends and family and people you meet about the service you offer.  Setup websites and on social networks such as myspace and facebook, etc. post bulletins drawing people from your personal page to your business page.

Once they are there they can then add that page and look at your website.  This can be essential in growing your business.  The more people know about your business the better chance you have at succeeding.  Moms can network at PTA meetings along with your child’s other extracurricular activities.  Be sure to have your business cards handy because you never know when the opportunity to hand one out may occur.  You can print your own business cards right at home and they will look professionally done.  Staples has a great product called Avery business card paper and whether you have an inkjet or laser jet printer you can download templates that match the paper of your choice.  The come in glossy or matte finished and either white, ivory or grey, with or without a clean edge.  They also have magnets and brochure paper to ensure optimal business will be coming your way.  Separating the business cards or folding the brochures is as sure way to get your children involved in helping your with your business and making them feel important.
